Meet Tim

A former partner with one of Florida's largest law firms, and previously board certified in both Business Litigation and Civil Trial law for 25 years, Tim brings a wealth of experience to the dispute resolution field. His litigation practice involved a wide spectrum of civil disputes, ranging from commercial/business disputes, employment matters and real estate litigation to sophisticated products liability and personal injury matters.

During his 44 years of practice, he regularly represented a varied client base, consisting of Fortune 500 clients, governmental entities and individuals, before state and federal courts, as well as administrative bodies. Tim has significant jury and bench trial, appellate and arbitration experience in a wide diversity of matters dealing with complex legal and factual issues and proceedings. Building upon and applying the fruits of his experience, Tim now devotes his full-time practice to dispute resolution.

My 44 years of complex litigation practice experience, and being both Board Certified in Business Litigation and Civil Trial for the last 25 of those years (an accolade for which less than 1% of lawyers licensed to practice in Florida qualify), provide the wealth of experience to assist in the resolution of your dispute.

Preparation

I am a firm believer that it is essential for a successful ADR experience that your mediator come to the table fully prepared in the details of the dispute before him/her. A hallmark of my practice is to come fully prepared to meaningfully discuss the issues and to challenge the parties/counsel where necessary.

Impartiality

A neutral playing field, hosted by an impartial mediator or arbitrator, is essential to a successful mediation or arbitration. I can assure all participants that they will receive both of these key aspects when I am involved.

Meaningful Communication

Effective communication by a mediator is critical. It not only entails effective speaking but also, equally important, very attentive listening to the needs, concerns and wants of the opposing parties. I endeavor to do both.
